i have a dog but i dont know what her breed is since thety gave her to us

more details:

she has a long tail and the hair on it is straight

shes about a medium size

she has curly hair

and thats about it i think u can see the rest on the picture

He is sooooooooooo cute - does it even matter? :) The only way to really tell for sure would be genetic testing to be technical. He is a mixed breed of quality cuteness!! I agree with most answers that he is a mixed breed with possible poodle/terrier mix or a cockapoo - which is also a mix. A cockapoo is a mix of cockerspaniel and poodle which most people thinks is a breed. The bottom line is she is probably a mixed breed and those make better pets than most purebreds anyway. Have fun with her and don't worry about what she is:) She is lucky to have you.

without seeing the rest of the dog's body I would say a shih tzu, Lhasa, or affenpinscher

It doesn't look like one certain breed. It's a mixed breed dog. But, it looks like a terrier, so it's probably a terrier mix, with maybe some poodle in it. Hope this helps!

She is definitely a terrier mix. If you had a full body shot, it would be easier to tell what the mix might be... Could be a bearded collie/terrier mix!

She's really cute! She looks like a poodle/shi tzu/ cockapoo/ Havanese type dog. She could also possibly have some sheepdog in her, especially if she's bigger (it's not clear what you mean by "medium size"). But if she's a random-bred dog, then she's not going to be, really, a "mix" of pure breeds but is just going to be an approximate type.
