She had a puppy February 28th and has since seen the vet. She got a clean bill of health from the vet. She was not losing her hair at the time of the vet appointment. She started Sentinel on April 28th. No changes in dog food. One of my other dogs had puppies 6 weeks ago. I am not sure if this has effected her.

She maybe losing her summer coat or like most females she is blowing her coat after she stopped nursing. This happens in a lot of Chihuahua's for sure.
My friend breeds long and short coat Chi's (he bred all of mine) The long coats always goes through what he calls "The Uglies" for a while once the pups are gone.

It could be caused by stress possibly from the other dog and its pups or it could be an allergic reaction to dog food.I would take her to the vet just to make sure. I know its costly, but better safe than something seriously wrong

This happens after a dog has puppies. It s called blowing their coat. Her coat will come back in as beautiful as ever.
