Does anyone know a small to medium cute dog that doesn't shed alot?

my brother is allergic to dust mites and fir so we want a dog that doesnt shed that much. i mean when ever we go to my aunts house she has a dog that sheds alot and he doesnt sneeze and feel sick.... but just in case we want one that we dont have to exersize too much and clean up the hair.

Not really cute but the Chinese Crested doesn't shed. I've also heard poodles don't shed but I'm not sure on that one.

short hair dogs don't shed as much as long hair. they all shed but there is a lot of difference. Also if you keep them brushed good regular this cuts down on the hair loss you find on the floor. But if your brother is this allergic. you may have to make choice of sneezing or dog.

well for people who are allergic 2 dogs u can get Bichon Frise which does not shed neither does a poodle, shih tzu Lhasa apso... I am in love with a perfect dogs that seems good 4 u, one of my dogs is a Cocker Spaniel/ Bichon mix.. they are mellow fuzzy but dont shed love the water and are SOOOO... friendly!!

any of those dogs even them mixed would be GREAT for the allergies

Corgi. They do shed, but all dogs do and if you brush him/her regularly it will not be a problem. not only that they are the most friendly dogs in the world. They are long and short. There are two different kinds: Pembroke and Welsh. Theyr coloring is similar, but one kind has a tail and the other has a verry cute lovable stub.

yorkies, maltese, chiwawa,Shih tzu affen pincher,bedlington Terrier,bichon Frise,Bolonese,Havanese,welsh terrier,Pekingnese,toy poodle,schnauser,Pumi,poodle ok that s all i can think of but the Pekingnese i highly think u should get one of these there really good dogs i used to have one it was good looking hardly shed at all only a little he lasted three years but his intestanses were all messed up and me died I miss him so much!but really they last like 11 to 13 years i think but some where is the double digets

Min pins are very cute. . . the half of the time they're not obsessed with something outside and/or plotting to take over the world. . . don't shed much (just short little hairs), and are pretty good at self-exercising if need be (laps around the couch!). . .

BUT

. . . you really have to work to keep a step or two ahead of most of them and you have to be able to say no to all those "but I'm sooo cute, can't I get away with it this time?" looks unless you want your house to be run by a little dog within the week.

I know there are also several short-haired terriers that are about as low-maintenance as a min pin and within the 7- to 20-lb range. They're all slightly different, so I'd suggest you take a look at those as well?

The maltese does not shed. It is also very adorable if bred well. Maltese don't need a lot of exercise. Usually, all they need is a walk through the park. :) You can cut there hair short, too. :) Maltese have hair not fur. :)
